Jarvis - Mary Moore

--- Mrs. Will Jarvis died at her home on E. Main at 8 on Friday evening. She has been ill for some months with tuberculosis. The funeral services were held at the Christian Church on Tuesday afternoon by the Rev. Carl VanWinkle, pastor of the Brownsvalley Church. Interment at Union Cemetery. Musetta Moore was the daughter of George and Mary Moore. She was born Sept 13, 1875 on the Freelove Moore farm south of town. She married William Jarvis Dec 16, 1894. Five children were born to them: a daughter, Lula who died in infancy and four sons, Arthur, Willard, Verlin, and Benjamin. These, with the husband survive. Mrs. Jarvis joined the Christian Church Dec 1, 1892 and has always been a faithful member and a regular attendant at all the services of the Church. She took an especial interest in Sunday School and prayer meeting. She was a faithful wife and loving mother. - kbz
